How to get help, and the answers to the things people ask most

The answers below are for HealthPal AI. For anything else about PAssistant Technologies or its products, write to us at the address that follows.

Write to us

info@passistant.com.au reaches PAssistant Technologies Pty Ltd. It is the address for support, for privacy questions, for asking what we hold about you, and for complaints.

Please do not send health information, photographs of documents, or your password. None of those help us answer, and email is not a good place for any of them.

Answers you do not have to wait for

I want a copy of everything you hold about me

In the app: Settings, then Legal & Privacy, then Access & Export My Data. On this website, signed in: Settings, then Legal & Privacy, then Export my data. It is free and it is not part of a membership.

I want to delete my account

In the app: Settings, then Legal & Privacy, then Delete Account. On this website, signed in: Settings, then Legal & Privacy, then Delete account. Either way it asks for your password, erases your files and every table that holds anything of yours, and then looks again to check nothing survived — if anything is left you are told it failed rather than told it worked.

If your membership was bought through the App Store, deleting the account does not cancel it. Only you can, in Settings on your device. The app warns you about this before it deletes anything.

How do I stop a membership?

Both routes are in the HealthPal AI Subscription Terms, and the Membership card in the app says which kind you have. There is no free trial — a membership is charged from the moment it is bought.

I lost my phone

Sign in on another device and open Settings, then Legal & Privacy, then Linked Devices. Every device signed in to your account is listed, and you can sign any one of them out on its own. Changing your password does not sign other devices out, so use this rather than that.

My briefings or reminders stopped arriving

They are delivered through a Telegram bot of your own. In the app, the briefing screen shows what the server thinks it is going to send and when it last succeeded or failed, which is usually enough to tell the two causes apart: the bot has been disconnected, or the membership that pays for scheduled briefings has lapsed.

Something in the app told me a number I do not trust

Very possibly correct. Nutrition figures come from public databases and product labels and are estimates; targets are standard equations applied to what you typed; anything an AI model read out of a photograph can be wrong. The Health & Medical Disclaimer sets out what is and is not reliable, and none of it is medical advice.

I am worried about my relationship with food or my weight

Tracking does not suit everybody. If logging what you eat, or watching a number on a scale, is making you anxious, please stop using those parts of the app and speak to someone. In Australia, the Butterfly Foundation's national helpline is 1800 33 4673. In an emergency, call 000.
