Terms of Use

The agreement between you and us

HealthPal AI · Version 2026-10-06.1 · PAssistant Technologies Pty Ltd

Applies to HealthPal AI.This document applies to HealthPal AI — the app, and your HealthPal AI account on this site. It does not currently cover PAssistant or Ledger.

Who you are agreeing with

HealthPal AI is published by PAssistant Technologies Pty Ltd (ABN 88 701 871 641), an Australian company. In these terms "we", "us" and "our" mean that company, and "you" means the person using the app.

By creating an account, or by using the app without one, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the app.

What the app is

HealthPal AI is a general fitness and wellbeing app. It records what you choose to log — food, drinks, workouts, weight, sleep and notes — reads activity data from Apple Health if you allow it, works out targets from figures you enter, and keeps a personal record of health events and documents you add yourself.

It is not a medical device, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, dietitian, physiotherapist or any other qualified professional. Nothing it shows you is a diagnosis, a treatment, or advice about a medical condition. The Health & Medical Disclaimer sets this out in full and forms part of these terms.

Your account

You need to be at least 16 years old to have an account. Before one can be created you are asked to confirm that you are, and we record that confirmation with the date and the version of these terms you were shown. If a date of birth is later entered that shows the account holder is under 16, the account stops working: you are told why, and you can still delete it and everything in it. We do not ask for identity documents to prove your age and we will not start.

You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what is done through your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has it.

You can also use the app without an account. If you do, everything you log stays on your phone and nothing is sent to us — which also means nothing is backed up, and losing the phone loses the data.

What you put into the app

What you log is yours. We do not claim ownership of it. You give us permission to store it and process it only so far as running the app for you requires — showing it back to you, syncing it between your devices, working out your totals and targets, and the features you switch on yourself.

You are responsible for what you upload. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to, and do not upload another person's health information without their consent.

We do not sell what you log, and we do not use it to advertise to you or let anyone else do so.

Using it properly

Please do not try to break into other people's accounts, get around the limits on your own, take the app apart, scrape it, or use it to do anything unlawful.

We may suspend or close an account that is being used to do any of those things.

Things that will not always work

The app depends on services we do not control — Apple Health, the food databases it looks foods up in, the payment provider, and Telegram if you connect it. Any of them can be unavailable, and figures that come from them can be wrong.

Food and nutrition figures come from public databases and from product labels. They are estimates. Energy and macro numbers worked out from your body measurements are estimates too — they use standard published equations applied to what you typed, not a measurement of you.

We do not promise the app will be available without interruption, or that it will be free of errors.

Where our responsibility ends

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss that follows from relying on estimates the app produced, from data that did not sync, or from the app being unavailable.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Where we are permitted to limit our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

Ending it

You can stop using the app at any time, and you can delete your account from inside it — Settings, then Legal & Privacy, then Delete Account. Deleting removes your account and the data stored under it from our servers.

We may end your access if you break these terms, or if we stop running the app. If we stop running it we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export what you have logged.

Changes

We may change these terms. If a change matters to you, the app will ask you to read and accept the new version before you carry on using it. Continuing to use the app after that is how you accept it.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
